Welcome To The Gallery of NZ artist - Jacquie Ellis
Welcome to my On-line Gallery
Finding your way around the Gallery
If you use the index on the left hand side, you can flick through each type of painting group - whether it's a Seascape you would like to see, or the Latest Paintings.
For those who know my work well, you will also see two additional pages - Acrylics and Spraypainting. Recently I have spread my artist fingers and tried new mediums - not just the usual oil painting. Check them out and see what you think!

My Artwork
The paintings shown in this Gallery represent only a few from the collection available to you, the discerning art-lover. All of these works have been painted with care and attention using only the finest oils, canvas boards, and canvases. They are made to last and give the owner years of pleasure. All have a character and individually of their own. Rarely do I create more than one of a scene, thereby ensuring that you will receive an original. They are not mass produced, and are not sold from stores. You can only purchase these directly from my gallery and studio in Auckland, New Zealand.
While all care and attention has been made to ensure that these images are a true likeness of the original, some shading and lightening of the colours may have occurred during the scanning process. To date I have never had an original returned because the purchaser was disappointed.
Buying an Artwork
You will note that the prices for these paintings have not been added to this on-line gallery. When purchasing you will need to convert from NZ dollars. The exchange rate of the day will be calculated to make it fair when paying for your painting and can be worked out on-line or contact me and I can advise. Payment is usually made by bank draft or cheque, and postage and packaging will need to be added.
When sending all works are well wrapped and protected to ensure a safe arrival at their destination. Any paintings over $NZ500 are usually insured and this cost is included with the postage cost.
Your artwork will be signed by the artist so that you can be sure it is an original.
My artwork is found all over the world, covering many countries - England, United States, Japan, Australia and throughout New Zealand (to name a few).

"Great page jaquie and I love your new additions." Joan, Te Aroha""I am learning to paint and draw as a hobby. I do mostly colored pencils and watercolors. Recently, I was gifted with a lovely set of oil pastels and have no clue how to use them. I was searching the web for some ideas and inspiration. Your work is wonderful and I hardly ever stop and comment, but this time I had to! I was discouraged because I was thinking maybe oil pastels were just fancy crayons,,,but now I see they can produce beautiful effects and are worth the time to learn to handle them." Sandi, San Diego, CA
